My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style. Maya Angelou
Lucien Designs is a full service design firm located in Florida’s Treasure Coast, south of Port St. Lucie and north of the Palm Beaches. Celesa has built a reputation for remodeling and redecorating personalized residential and commercial spaces using wall treatments, hand-painted murals and artwork and the Feng Shui philosophy of harmonizing homeowners with their environment. She is especially accomplished with burnished Venetian plaster finishes and frescos. Her original art and masterpiece reproductions allow clients to express who they are and what is meaningful to them.
Celesa Lucien is a second-generation interior designer tutored by her legendary father on signature projects such as jeweler Faberge’s Learjet, Richard Nixon’s infamous helicopter, and Sylvester Stallone’s tour bus. Her life and passions have taken her all over the world. Celesa has designed interiors for yachts, seasonal homes, residential and commercial spaces, even modern RVs and vintage campers. She is passionate about color, space and art, and—whenever possible—the use of eco-friendly materials and organic paints.
Celesa’s Hobe Sound, Florida, home is purposely and fully renovated to serve as a showcase for her work. An acclaimed artist, Celesa applies her eye for color, balance, and beauty to walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, counters, and cabinets in every room and on the lanai. The entire experience is designed to create a tactile and visually stunning preview of her work. Here you will find original art and perfectly applied patterns that have the glamorous look of polished marble, exotic ostrich skin, repurposed accessories and cozy living spaces to inspire and invigorate the imagination.
More than just creative and inventive, Celesa has just enough of the “wild child” in her to be able to climb into the mind, taste, and personality of her client in order to represent their best expectations with an incredible exclamation mark of flair. Medora C. Reading, Palm City, Fla.
I have worked with Celesa on several fundraising initiatives for over 15 years and found her organized, creative, forthright, and enthusiastic. Her creativity to use available resources wisely make her a valuable asset. She is warm and energetic, friendly yet professional, and she earned the trust of those with whom she worked. Linda Wilder, Birmingham, Ala.
People are drawn to Celesa and inspired by her life’s energy. She is self-motivated and works with confidence and integrity in whatever she pursues. The design of her residence in Hobe Sound is a testament to her talents in the field of interior design. Maurie Van Buren, Decatur GA
